Myeloma Action Month 2026: A Mid-Month Recap
Lighting Landmarks for Myeloma Action Month
Across the globe, communities have come together in a powerful display of solidarity, illuminating landmarks in red to raise awareness for myeloma. Canada has taken action, with more than thirty landmarks lit from sea to sea. People living with myeloma, families, and friends have attended these lightings, turning each moment into a powerful act of togetherness.
So far, 26 landmarks have been lit!

Make it Official!
Meanwhile, the official proclamations have been pouring in. Municipalities, provinces, and officials across Canada have formally acknowledged the importance of this month.
So far, 4 provinces have recognized Myeloma Action Month, 6 municipalities have followed suit, and 1 day has been dedicated to myeloma.



Myeloma Canada Flags Flying
Raising flags is another cherished tradition for the Canadian myeloma community, and this year has been no exception.
So far, we have had 1 flag raising across the country.
Turning Social Media Red
The sea of red on social media has been powerful. So many of you have shared photos wearing red for myeloma. Please keep it coming! Every post spreads awareness and shows people living with myeloma that they are not alone.
