NEW CANADIAN CANCER STATISTICS REPORT REVEALS OVER 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE IN CANADA ARE LIVING WITH OR BEYOND CANCER
Previously estimated at 1 million, this finding highlights improvements in survival but also cancer’s long-term toll on our healthcare system and the critical need to advance research to improve prevention and quality of life.
This 2022 special report provides estimates of cancer prevalence by cancer type, sex, age, geographic region, duration, neighbourhood income and urban and rural status for adults, and by cancer type for childhood cancers.
