The New Brunswick Myeloma Peer Support Line was created for multiple myeloma French-speaking patients, caregivers, family and friends who want to share experience, one-on-one. It is meant to help you better understand, manage or cope, and provide you with a different perspective, valuable ideas, and insights. Speaking directly and privately with a Myeloma Peer Support volunteer may offer you a different level of comfort, knowing that they too, “have been there”.
The New Brunswick Myeloma Peer Support Line is run by a francophone patient volunteer.
Events
This Peer Support Line is open to all French-speaking patients, their families, friends and other interested parties.
Please indicate your coordinates in an email to [email protected] so that the patient volunteer may call you back.
For English support, please join one of the two existing English-speaking support groups in the area by using Myeloma Canada’s support group locator at Support groups for Myeloma patients | Myeloma Canada.
No in-person meetings are available for this group. To express your interest in becoming a co-leader for the Support Line as a bilingual patient volunteer, or in running in-person meetings, please contact Karine Gravel, Regional Manager, Education and Community Engagement at Myeloma Canada at [email protected] or Serge Savoie, Leader of the Peer Support Line at [email protected].
