Info-cancer services (Quebec francophones)

Myeloma Canada is strengthening the support offered to people with cancer through its “Peer Support” program by offering Francophones a telephone pairing service via the Quebec Cancer Foundation.

For myeloma patients, getting one-on-one support from a peer can make all the difference, since they share this common experience. The reality of everyday life with myeloma remains frightening, because the question is never whether there will be a relapse, but rather when it will occur.

How to request Myeloma Peer Support?

  1. Call toll-free at 1 800 363‑0063 to get a phone match.
  2. Indicate the type of support you would like, mentioning that you have multiple myeloma.
  3. You will be redirected to a volunteer from our community, equipped to understand you, and help you take charge or deal with your situation.
