This occurs more commonly with lambda versus kappa Bence Jones proteins. In patients with amyloidosis, the light chain proteins bind to certain tissues such as heart, nerves and kidney rather than being excreted out of the body through the kidneys.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0Network is is to explore and discuss the wide range of treatment options and to give myeloma patients and their loved ones the support and information they need to live longer and stronger lives.
