Les patients atteints de my\u00e9lome avec insuffisance r\u00e9nale ne produisent pas suffisamment d\u2019\u00e9rythropo\u00ef\u00e9tine et peuvent devenir an\u00e9miques. Des injections d\u2019\u00e9rythropo\u00ef\u00e9tine synth\u00e9tique peuvent s\u2019av\u00e9rer utiles. La transfusion sanguine constitue une autre alternative, particuli\u00e8rement en cas d\u2019urgence.
